Course Details

This Manufacturing and Engineering – Introduction course combines two VET Board Endorsed courses.  It has been developed to allow students to undertake 240 indicative hours of learning, providing 4 units of HSC credit.  This qualification defines entry-level skills and knowledge to assist workers entering employment as engineering/manufacturing employees within the metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries. The qualification is intended for people interested in exposure to an engineering or related working environment with a view to entering into employment in that area. This qualification applies to a learning and assessment environment where access to structured on-the-job learning in a workplace may not be available.
